This is the chain letter of viral marketing.
After the initial setup, maintenance is nil, you need never do anything ever again to reap the benefits. If people use this method of viral marketing(some will just because of the huge potential ROI), you will eventually have banners on a huge number of sites. It only works if at least some of your visitors are webmasters or site owners or at least someone who has a blog. They cannot install your banner if they do not have a website!
This program does have some downsides: you must have a banner to use it; you need intermediate level HTML skills to modify the files and install them(maybe beginner level if you are very careful following the instructions); the full impact takes timeto build.
